Job summary

Gap Personnel is looking for a reliable Production Operative to join a busy Tredegar manufacturing site on a days-only shift (Mon-Thu 07:00–16:45). You will operate machinery, support daily production operations and help maintain high quality standards.

Experience is helpful but not essential; a strong work ethic, good practical skills, and the ability to work as part of a team across all levels are valued. Training will be provided to develop production processes and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated attitude with strong timekeeping.
• Ability to work unsupervised when required.
• Good technical skills and practical ability.
• A reliable team player who can communicate well across all levels.
• Strong quality focus and attention to detail.
• Understanding of production processes is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Operating machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Using mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues.
• Fabricating components using tools such as milling machines.
• Assembling products to specification.
• Working collaboratively to support smooth production flow.
• Following all health & safety procedures and safe tool handling.
