The role combines hands-on software development with squad leadership, guiding 1–4 engineers, and collaborating with Engineering Managers, Product Owners, and stakeholders to align technical delivery with business priorities.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a small technical squad while remaining hands-on.
• Strong background in building, shipping, and operating production systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, automated testing, cloud infrastructure, and production support.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and operate production software in a hands-on capacity.
• Lead the squad’s technical delivery: break down problems, align the team, and maintain momentum.
• Make squad-scoped technical decisions balancing speed, quality, maintainability, and sustainability.
• Set and uphold engineering standards through design, code review, testing discipline, and operational ownership.
