Job summary

We are recruiting for a hands-on IT Manager to own the IT operation across multiple UK sites for a manufacturing business. You will act as the technical lead, supporting 230 employees and collaborating with an MSP and technology partners to deliver projects and resolve issues.

Responsibilities include managing Microsoft 365/Azure, Windows Server and security, backups, DR, and day-to-day IT support across office, warehouse and manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on IT infrastructure experience in a manufacturing/enterprise environment.
• Experience managing Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
• Solid knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, networking and security.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the IT infrastructure and day-to-day operations.
• Lead infrastructure upgrades and hardware refreshes.
• Manage backups, DR, and business continuity; coordinate with MSPs and vendors.
• Provide support to users across office, warehouse and manufacturing sites.
