Chilled Pubs in Derbyshire is seeking a Financial Controller to lead day-to-day finance across its pub sites and manufacturing hub. You will own the full accounting cycle, ensuring accuracy, control and readiness for external audit.

We are looking for an ACCA/CIMA/ACA-qualified professional with payroll expertise, strong Excel skills, and experience with Sage or Xero. You’ll develop robust processes, enable clear reporting and support growth across multiple businesses.

Qualifications

• Qualified or very nearly qualified in ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent.
• Strong practical accounting experience and confident owning the full accounting cycle.
• Background in manufacturing and payroll knowledge is advantageous.
• Experience with multiple IT systems and clear financial reporting.

Responsabilités

• Lead day-to-day finance across multiple pubs sites and a manufacturing hub.
• Be the sole accountant, owning the full accounting cycle and audit readiness.
• Manage accruals, prepayments, reconciliations and everyday processes.
• Report on stock, variances, capital control and cashflow.
• Support payroll processing and oversee accounts team activities.
