The Swan at Walton is seeking a Financial Controller to lead finance across multiple pubs and a manufacturing hub. You will own the full accounting cycle and prepare for external audit, while building robust controls and clear reporting.

We require ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent, hands-on management of payroll, and experience across multi-site operations. Strong Excel and accounting software skills are essential, along with a curious, process-minded approach.

Formación

• Qualified or near-qualified in ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent.
• Strong practical accounting experience and ownership of the full accounting cycle.

Responsabilidades

• Produce period-end management accounts across multiple pubs and a manufacturing hub.
• Complete accounts from start to finish, ready for external audit.
• Manage accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations and daily processes.
• Report and analyse stock counts, inventory and price variances.
• Oversee fixed asset management and capital control.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management.
• Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with payroll rules.
• Support and develop the accounts team across sites.
• Oversee purchase ledger activities and payment runs.
• Collaborate with helpdesk on payment queries and resolve issues.
• Ensure VAT and National Statistics reporting compliance.
