Job summary

Chilled Pubs is seeking a hands-on Financial Controller to lead the finance function across multiple pubs and a manufacturing hub, owning the full accounting cycle and preparing for external audit.

You’ll manage period-end reporting, budgeting, cashflow, payroll, VAT and statutory returns, line-managing a small accounts team, and driving process improvements in a busy, manufacturing-led hospitality group.

Qualifications

• Qualified or nearly qualified in ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent.
• Strong practical accounting experience and ownership of full accounting cycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day finance across multiple pubs and a manufacturing hub.
• Be the sole accountant, owning the full accounting cycle and external audit readiness.
• Manage month/quarter/year-end processes, payroll, VAT and statutory reporting.
• Develop and maintain strong financial controls and accurate records.
• Lead and develop the accounts team and oversee purchase ledger activities.
