Job summary

Enable is seeking an Events Operations and Venues Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of multiple venues and deliver safe, high-quality event environments. You will manage on-site teams, coordinate facilities, and ensure compliance across schedules, budgets and contractor work.

The role is hands-on, fast-paced and requires proactive problem-solving to support a diverse events programme. Based in London with flexible hours and weekend work as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven venue management experience.
• Strong line management experience.
• Proven project management experience.
• Experience writing Standard and Emergency Operating Procedures.
• Competence with office software (Outlook, Excel, databases).

Responsibilities

• Team & Workforce Management: line manage Duty Managers and oversee casual staff, recruit and onboard, manage rotas and cross-team activity.
• Venue Operations & Facilities Management: lead day-to-day operations, ensure safety/compliance, coordinate maintenance and asset management.
• On-Site Delivery: support Head of Events in delivering enable-produced events, provide hands-on operational leadership during live events.
• Health & Safety: lead on H&S across events, maintain safe systems of work, ensure risk assessments are robust, oversee contractor compliance.
• Financial & Commercial Oversight: manage budgets, reconcile costs, procure quotes, support invoices and cost control.
