Job summary

Parker Meggitt is seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety Specialist to work on-site at Ansty Park, Coventry, Monday to Friday. This fixed-term role (12-18 months) focuses on shaping a safe, compliant, and high-performing working environment within aerospace manufacturing.

You will develop, deliver and continuously improve safety programmes, support HSE systems, audits, risk assessments and timely closure of actions. A proactive safety culture will be embedded across teams and operations.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH qualification required (Certificate or Diploma) or international equivalent.
• Engineering background or qualification.
• Experience implementing ISO 14001 and related standards.
• Strong knowledge of EHS directives, systems and legal requirements.
• Experience in risk, change management and contractor oversight.
• On-site, five days a week presence.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and delivering HSE training for employees
• Reporting and investigating incidents in a timely manner
• Providing internal and external reporting for HSE metrics and KPI's
• Preparing and delivering site HSE briefings
• Collating accident records and reporting under RIDDOR
• Issuing UC/NM reports and monitoring the accident/incident database
• Assisting with HSE incident investigation reports
