Job summary

Workforce Recruitment and Training in Dudley is seeking an experienced CNC Miller Programmer to join a well-established manufacturing site. You will program, set and operate CNC milling machines, perform milling and boring work, and work with Heidenhain controls.

Reading detailed drawings and maintaining tight tolerances are essential. The role is hands-on with a focus on precision and quality, aligned with company standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in CNC Milling (Programming/Setting/Operating).
• Strong background in medium to large milling & boring.
• Experience with Heidenhain controls (preferred).
• Fanuc knowledge beneficial.
• Machining symbols and geometric tolerances familiarity.
• Experience using measuring equipment (micrometers).

Responsibilities

• Program, set, and operate CNC milling machines.
• Carry out medium to large-scale milling and boring work.
• Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings.
• Work to tight tolerances and machining standards.
• Inspect and check your own work using measuring equipment.
