Job summary

Workforce Staffing Ltd in Dudley is seeking an experienced CNC Miller Programmer to join a well-established manufacturing site. The role involves programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines and delivering precise components to tight tolerances.

You'll read detailed engineering drawings, work to machining standards and use measuring equipment to inspect your own work. Experience with Heidenhain controls is preferred, with Fanuc knowledge also beneficial.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in CNC milling with programming, setting and operating.
• Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and machining standards.
• Experience using precision measuring tools to verify work pieces (micrometers, slip gauges).
• Knowledge of Heidenhain controls preferred; Fanuc knowledge is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Program, set, and operate CNC milling machines.
• Carry out medium to large-scale milling and boring work.
• Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings.
• Work to tight tolerances and machining standards.
