Job summary

Workforce Staffing in Dudley is seeking an experienced CNC Miller Programmer to join a well-established manufacturing site. The role will involve programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines to produce precision components.

You will work with Heidenhain controls (essential) with exposure to Fanuc knowledge being beneficial. This hands-on position offers steady hours and competitive hourly pay in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in CNC Milling (Programming/Setting/Operating).
• Strong background in medium to large milling & boring.
• Experience with Heidenhain controls (preferred).
• Fanuc knowledge beneficial.
• Confident reading engineering drawings, including: Machining symbols, Tolerances, Geometric tolerances.
• Experience using measuring equipment: Micrometers, Slip gauges.

Responsibilities

• Program, set, and operate CNC milling machines.
• Carry out medium to large-scale milling and boring work.
• Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings.
• Work to tight tolerances and machining standards.
• Inspect and check your own work using measuring equipment.
