Job summary

EKFB is seeking to recruit proven Quality Engineers to work within a section of the HS2 project, ensuring that quality documents are embedded and retained by Construction Delivery teams to enable progressive handover of structures.

Reporting to the Section Quality Manager, you will implement the quality and completions strategy during the construction phase, ensuring documentation is collated to support timely handover and certification, while promoting best practice and liaising with clients

Qualifications

• Experience implementing document quality control and QA interventions.
• Experience in fast-paced construction or regulated environments.
• Knowledge of QA handover best practices.
• Experience using digital systems to manage completions records.
• Flexible, well-organised with strong communication.
• Driving license and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Drive collation of information to prepare handover documentation per the Technical Certification Plan.
• Implement quality, technical assurance and completions requirements with construction teams.
• Support delivery of section quality activities to enable timely project handover.
• Develop relationships with client representatives and internal stakeholders.
• Use IT systems to manage quality and completions records.
• Plan product realisation through inspection and Test/Work Package plans.
• Promote the Business Management System benefits and knowledge.
• Support the Section Quality & Completions Manager; encourage Speak Up and Choices initiatives.
