Job summary

Carmichael are seeking a Quality Engineer to join our Suffolk-based major infrastructure project on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Section Quality Manager, you will implement the quality and completions strategy and ensure documentation is collated to enable progressive handover of structures for project completion.

Key duties include collating information for handover certification, coordinating with delivery teams on quality and completions, and using IT systems to maintain records.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in quality assurance and documentation control.
• Experience in construction or regulated sectors is preferred.
• Strong Stakeholder collaboration and communication.

Responsibilities

• Drive the process of collating information for handover and certification.
• Support the delivery of section quality, assurance and completions activities.
• Develop relationships with client representatives and internal stakeholders.
• Use IT systems to manage quality and completions records.
• Plan for product realization through inspection and test plans and work packages.
• Communicate the benefits and knowledge of the Business Management System.
• Support the Section Quality & Completions Manager.
