Job summary

Protocol Education is recruiting motivated and reliable Secondary Support Staff for a variety of secondary schools throughout Halifax. Whether you have previous school-based experience or transferable skills from youth work, coaching, care, or support roles, we would love to hear from you.

You will support teaching and learning across KS3 and KS4, work with staff to maintain an inclusive environment, and provide targeted support to individual students and small groups.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting young people is desirable.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
• Positive, patient, and professional attitude.
• Enhanced DBS check or willingness to apply.

Responsibilities

• Supporting teaching and learning across KS3 and KS4.
• Working alongside teaching staff to maintain an inclusive learning environment.
• Providing targeted support to individual students and small groups.
• Promoting positive behaviour and student wellbeing.
• Assisting with classroom preparation and lesson activities.
