Avara Foods is seeking a Slaughter Operative for our Brackley site in Northamptonshire. No prior experience is required as full training is provided, with opportunities to learn halal slaughter procedures and work within a supportive team.
The role is a full-time position in a busy, refrigerated environment, with rotating tasks and emphasis on hygiene, safety and teamwork. Avara Foods offers training from day one and weekly pay.

40 hours per week
06:00 – 14:30, Monday – Friday.
As Halal Slaughter Operative you’ll be culling birds in line with Halal standards (you must fully understand the Islamic procedure and conditions for slaughtering animals). Once Halal slaughter has finished, to operate within the Intake rotation for the remainder of the shift. So you’ll be working in a fast-paced, dynamic FMCG factory environment which is noisy and refrigerated in some areas, manufacturing short shelf life products where hygiene standards are critical.
