This 12-month post starting in February 2026 offers an exciting opportunity to gain experience in managing patients with disorders of haemostasis and benign Haematology.
The job is based in the Bristol Haematology Unit, which includes a 25-bed inpatient unit and a day unit dedicated to patients with Haemophilia, ITP, TTP, and other non-malignant Haematology disorders excluding Haemoglobinopathies. Bristol is a Haemophilia Comprehensive Care Centre, an ITP treating Centre, and a regional TTP centre.
This post is ideal for Haematology trainees in the later stages of their training seeking additional experience in this field.
The post holder will work within the Haemophilia and benign Haematology team based in the Bristol Haematology Unit. Responsibilities include all aspects of patient care for those with Haemostasis disorders. The role involves close collaboration with the clinical trials team for patient management in clinical trials. The post holder will be encouraged to undertake research projects and audits for presentations at conferences and publications.
