A leading healthcare provider in the UK is seeking a Fixed Term Clinical Fellow in Neonatal Medicine at Southmead Hospital. This role offers valuable educational experience, working in a renowned tertiary medical unit. Candidates must have full GMC registration and recent UK experience. The position emphasizes teaching, research, and high-quality care.
Applications are invited for a Fixed Term Clinical Fellow post (full time) in Neonatal Medicine (ST 1-3 level) at Southmead Hospital, starting as soon as possible after 15th January 2025, for a fixed term of 12 months (maternity leave cover).
Southmead Hospital features 16 Intensive/high dependency cots and is a tertiary medical Neonatal Unit, jointly leading the South West Neonatal Network (SWNN). Annually, approximately 5,500 babies are born here. The unit offers comprehensive Medical Intensive Care, accepting tertiary medical referrals from SWNN, and provides specialized services in Neonatal Neurology for the South West of England. The hospital emphasizes teaching, research, and evidence-based medicine.
This position is not recognized for formal training and lacks postgraduate deanery approval; however, it offers valuable educational experience.
