A leading healthcare institution in Chichester is seeking dedicated Band 5 or Band 6 nurses to join their gynaecological oncology team. This role focuses on providing compassionate care, supporting patients through their healthcare journey, and mentoring junior colleagues. Candidates should be passionate about cancer care and eager to develop their nursing expertise. The role provides full support towards becoming a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS).
Support patients and colleagues at breaking bad news and through the investigation/staging pathway. Contribute to the personalised care of the patient and provide appropriate information and advice to patients and others affected by cancer.

This Band 6 development post offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated Band 5 or Band 6 nurse with a special interest in gynaecological oncology to develop the knowledge, skills, and leadership qualities required for a CNS role. The postholder will be supported to work towards the full competencies expected of a Band 7 CNS, with regular supervision, training, and mentorship from the established CNS team.
