Job summary

Glasgow Life is seeking a Gymnastics Coach to join our Gymnastics Participation team and deliver sessions across Glasgow as part of our Sport Gymnastics Programme.

You must hold a UKCC Level 1 in General or Women's Artistic Gymnastics, bring coaching experience, and be available evenings and weekends. Salary is pro-rata for part-time roles, with main base discussed at interview.

What you need to know

Qualification: You must hold a Level 1 General or Women's Artistic Gymnastics Qualification to apply for this post.

Hours: We have a variety of hours available from bank hours to 20hrs per week. Examples of our current vacancies include:

Tuesday 3:45 - 8pm Palace of Art

Wednesday 3:45 - 8pm Kelvin Hall/Palace of Art

Thursday 3:30 - 6:30pm Kelvin Hall

Thursday 3:45 - 8pm Palace of Art

Friday 3:45 - 8pm Kelvin Hall

Saturday 9 - 5:30pm Palace of Art

Contract type:

• Permanent
• Staff Bank (work on an as-needed basis, ideal if you need flexibility)

Pay details: The listed salary is for a full-time role. If you're applying for a part-time or bank job, we will calculate your pay on a pro-rata basis. We offer a competitive salary ranging from £26,233.14 to £27,837.09 (pro-rata) per year which equates to approx. £14.37 to £15.25 per hour.

Location:

• City-wide, with your main base discussed at interview.

As a Gymnastics Coach, you'll be a part of a Gymnastics Participation Team team, reporting to the Sports Participation Officer. You'll play an essential role in delivering gymnastics sessions within our Glasgow Life Sport Gymnastics Programme. Your work will make a visible and lasting difference.

• A UKCC level 1 (or equivalent) qualified in either General or Artistic Gymnastics
• Experience and knowledge of gymnastics coaching
