Qualifications

• Experience in a management position within a leisure related industry.
• Passion for customer service and inspirational leadership.
• Qualified to at least Level 2 Gym Instructor.
• Experience driving sales and coordinating local marketing activity and managing a team.
• Experience as an Assistant Manager overseeing all business areas within a leisure facility or similar operational role.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the operational running of the gym at all times.
• Opening and closing site when required due to operational hours of the business.
• Work early mornings, late weekdays, and weekends.
• Adhere to Health and Safety Employee Policy and Company Procedures Handbook.
• Adhere to and maintain the JD Gyms Brand Standard.
• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly safety checks; report defects.
• Aim to achieve all sales and membership targets; drive secondary spend.
• Ensure cleanliness standards and supervise contract cleaners.
• Ensure uniform standards are followed by team members.
• Deliver outstanding member service.
• Create a positive environment for the team and contracted staff.
• Undertake other reasonable duties or projects as required.
• Always be an ambassador of JD Gyms.
