Job summary

JD Gyms Leeds is seeking an energetic Gym Manager to lead daily operations, drive membership growth and uphold JD Gyms’ brand standards.

You will supervise the team, ensure safety checks, manage opening and closing, deliver outstanding member service and maintain cleanliness, while hitting sales and engagement targets.

Experience in leisure management and Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification preferred; be an inspirational leader who motivates staff and ensures excellent customer experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in a management position within a leisure related industry.
• Passionate about customer service and inspirational leadership.
• Qualified to Level 2 Gym Instructor.
• Experience driving sales and coordinating local marketing.
• Experience as Assistant Manager or Fitness Manager preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operational running of the gym at all times.
• Open and close site according to hours.
• Drive sales and maximise membership targets.
• Ensure safety checks and building maintenance.
• Maintain cleanliness and brand standards.
• Lead and develop the gym team and cleaners.
