Job summary

Singapore Recreation Club is seeking a Gym Operations Executive to ensure smooth daily operation of the gym and wellness facilities, including towel counters, inventory, laundry, equipment maintenance, cleanliness, and safety across pools, steam rooms and saunas.

The role coordinates with vendors, handles changing room upkeep, locker management and ad hoc admin duties, while maintaining logs, incident reports and attendance records for a clean and safe member experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma or NITEC in a related field or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in a gym, fitness, hospitality or facilities role.
• Valid CPR and AED certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Basic knowledge of gym equipment and pool, sauna and steam room safety.

Job Purpose

The Gym Operations Executive is responsible for the smooth daily operation of the gym and its wellness facilities. This includes the towel counter, towel inventory monthly physical count with laundry vendor and laundry, upkeep and safe use of gym equipment liaising with equipment supplier/maintenance, cleanliness of the gym, regular checks of the hot pool, cold pool, swimming pools, steam room and sauna, coordination with vendors for repair works, changing room cleanliness, locker and keys management, and ad hoc administrative duties. The role ensures that members and guests enjoy a clean, safe and well-run facility at all times.

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or NITEC in a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in a gym, fitness, hospitality or facilities role (preferred).
• Valid CPR and AED certification (or willingness to obtain one).
• Basic knowledge of gym equipment and pool, sauna and steam room safety.

Skills and Attributes

Working Conditions

• Shift work, including weekends and public holidays, as required.
