Everlast Gyms in the United Kingdom is seeking a General Assistant (Cleaner) to maintain high standards of cleanliness across our facilities. You will help create a welcoming and safe environment for members, from gym floors to changing rooms, playing a vital role in the member experience.

This 20-hour-per-week role offers training, reliability, and opportunities to grow within a fast‑paced fitness community under the Frasers Group.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning or janitorial experience preferred, but training provided.
• High attention to detail with ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and safe chemical handling.
• Strong time management and ability to prioritise tasks.
• Good communicator and team player.
• Flexible to work evenings and weekends.

Responsabilités

• Carry out thorough cleaning of gym areas and facilities.
• Sanitise and disinfect surfaces to maintain hygiene.
• Empty bins, replace liners, and follow waste procedures.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies; notify management when stock is low.
• Work with gym team to deliver a seamless member experience.
• Report maintenance or repair needs promptly.
• Uphold cleanliness and safety standards at all times.

As a General Assistant (Cleaner) at Everlast Gyms, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout our facilities. From sparkling workout areas to spotless changing rooms, you'll create a welcoming and safe environment that keeps our members coming back.

This is a 20-hour-per-week role, perfect for someone detail-oriented, reliable, and passionate about making a difference in the member experience.

What You'll Be Doing

• Carrying out thorough cleaning of all areas including gym floors, equipment, studios, locker rooms, showers, and communal spaces.
• Sanitising and disinfecting surfaces to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
• Emptying bins, replacing liners, and following waste disposal procedures.
• Monitoring and replenishing cleaning supplies, notifying management when stock is low.
• Working alongside the gym team to deliver a seamless member experience.
• Reporting maintenance or repair needs promptly.
• Upholding Everlast Gyms' cleanliness and safety standards at all times.
