Job summary

360 Safety & Training is seeking trainers to deliver GWO courses in Scotland, including Working at Height, Advanced Rescue, and Manual Handling. You will assess participants, ensure compliance, and complete all course paperwork while maintaining safety and a positive training environment.

The role requires GWO delivery experience, a UK driving licence, and strong communication skills. AET Level 3 or GWO IQT qualification is preferred; 28 days holiday and a pension are offered.

Qualifications

• GWO Basic Safety Training and Advanced Rescue qualifications.
• Experience delivering GWO training, especially height safety.
• UK driving licence and ICT skills (MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive GWO courses in line with GWO standards and client requirements.
• Assess participants to ensure compliance with relevant standards.
• Complete course documentation and admin paperwork after each course.
• Maintain safety of participants throughout training.
• Ensure training aids are fit for purpose and properly set up.
• Create a positive and engaging training environment.
• Liaise with admin staff and management as needed.
• Contribute to development of new and existing courses.
• Demonstrate strong organisational and time management skills.

360 Safety & Training, are a specialist technical and safety training provider focussing predominantly on training and safety within the wind industry.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive training of GWO courses in line with GWO, company and client requirements including but not limited to: Working at Height, Advanced Rescue, Manual Handling & Fire Awareness.
• Assessing participants to ensure they have met the requirements of the relevant standards
• Ensuring that all course paperwork is completed at the end of each course
• Ensuring safety of participants throughout training
• Ensuring training aids are fit for purpose and properly set up for training
• Creating a positive and enjoyable training environment
• Communicating with Admin staff and Management
• Provide input into the development of new and existing courses
• Demonstrate excellent organisational and time management skills
• Ensure excellent health & safety at all times

Qualifications

• GWO Basic Safety Training & Advanced Rescue Training qualified
• Previous GWO delivery experience, specifically height safety courses
• AET Level 3 or GWO IQT or equivalent
• UK Driving License
• Have track record of delivering GWO training to a high standard
• An enthusiastic approach, self-motivated, able to work on own initiative and well organised
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Computer literate, familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• 28 days holiday per year depending on contract
