Job summary

Maersk in the Humber Region is seeking a motivated GWO Instructor to join our growing team. The role focuses on delivering engaging practical and classroom-based training to delegates and developing knowledge across multiple GWO safety disciplines.

You will travel to training centres and client locations across the UK and be supported through ongoing instructor development to prepare personnel for safe work in challenging environments.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Award in Education and Training (or equivalent) is required.
• Experience delivering practical training, coaching, or instruction.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Good IT skills including Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to travel when required.
• A strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and assess training in accordance with GWO standards and company procedures
• Facilitate both practical and theoretical learning sessions
• Create an engaging and inclusive learning environment for all delegates
• Provide coaching, feedback, and support to delegates throughout their training
• Maintain training equipment in a safe and serviceable condition
• Conduct routine inspections and safety checks of facilities and equipment
• Assist in the continuous improvement and development of training materials
• Ensure all activities are carried out to the highest standards of safety and quality
• Represent the company professionally and uphold company values at all times
