Your Housing Group is seeking a Gutter Maintenance Operative to join our Repairs and Maintenance team in the North West. The role focuses on gutter cleaning, inspections, repairs and replacements across residential properties, promoting safety and high standards of workmanship.
You will work 40 hours, Monday to Friday, and travel within the North West region. A UK driving licence is required; training and progression opportunities are available within a collaborative team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Gutter Maintenance Operative to join Your Housing Groups Repairs and Maintenance Division and provide a high-quality service mainly focusing on gutter cleaning, repairs and replacement. This role sits within our Responsive Repairs Team, covering our homes across the North West region. With 4 vacancies currently for Gutter Maintenance Operative's to join our repairs team, covering the North West region (Preston, Manchester, Merseyside, Staffordshire and Warrington) What will my working week look like? This role is based on a 40-hour working week, Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm. You will live within a reasonable travelling distance of our operating area, to be able to cover properties across the North West region. You will also need to live within a reasonable travelling distance of our Head Office in Birchwood, Warrington to attend meetings and training courses when needed. What will I be responsible for doing? First and foremost, you will be responsible for carrying out gutter cleaning, inspections, repairs and replacements to a wide range of residential properties, ensuring rainwater systems remain safe, functional and free from blockages that could cause damage to customers' homes. One of the great things about this role is the variety of work involved. You'll be working across multiple locations, diagnosing issues, carrying out repairs, and helping to proactively prevent future maintenance problems.
