Job summary

Your Housing Group is seeking a Gutter Maintenance Operative to join the Repairs and Maintenance Division across the North West. The role focuses on gutter cleaning, repairs and replacements while delivering a high-quality service to customers in their homes.

You will work a 40-hour week, primarily within the North West, living within travelling distance of properties and the Head Office in Birchwood, Warrington for occasional meetings and training.

Qualifications

• Experience in gutter cleaning, gutter repairs, external property maintenance or a related trade.
• Experience working safely at height and using appropriate access equipment.
• Experience in carrying out property maintenance and repair works to a high standard.
• A full UK Driving Licence (ideally with no more than 6 points).

Responsibilities

• Carry out gutter cleaning, inspections, repairs and replacements to a wide range of residential properties.
• Identify defects, recommend and complete appropriate repairs.
• Complete minor external maintenance works where required.
• Use access equipment and work safely at height in accordance with company procedures.
• Record completed works accurately using our job management system.
• Ensure that company vehicles, equipment and tools are in a safe and serviceable condition.
• Deliver excellent customer service and represent Your Housing Group professionally at all times.
• Comply with all health and safety policies and procedures.
