Job summary

Your Housing Group is seeking a Gutter Maintenance Operative to join our Repairs and Maintenance team in the North West. The role focuses on gutter cleaning, inspections, repairs and replacements across residential properties, promoting safety and high standards of workmanship.

You will work 40 hours, Monday to Friday, and travel within the North West region. A UK driving licence is required; training and progression opportunities are available within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Experience in gutter cleaning, repairs, roofing or related trade.
• Experience working safely at height with access equipment.
• Experience maintaining properties to a high standard.
• Breadth across trades is beneficial.
• Basic health and safety knowledge in a repairs environment.
• Good problem-solving and ability to work independently.
• Full UK Driving Licence (ideally with ≤6 points).

Responsibilities

• Carry out gutter cleaning, inspections, repairs and replacements for residential properties.
• Identify defects and complete appropriate repairs.
• Perform minor external maintenance works as required.
• Use access equipment and work safely at height.
• Record completed works in the job management system.
• Ensure company vehicles and tools are safe and serviceable.
• Deliver excellent customer service and represent Your Housing Group professionally.
