Job summary

Pace Infrastructure Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Gully Wagon Operator to support highway drainage and cleansing on major projects. You will operate gully wagons and assist drainage maintenance across planned and reactive works, ensuring safety and efficiency on site.

The role requires operating HGV Class 2 vehicles, performing routine checks and contributing to traffic management as needed. Immediate starts available with ongoing long-term opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience operating gully wagons or vacuum tankers is preferred.
• CSCS or Highways Passport is beneficial.
• NRSWA, Confined Space or Water Jetting tickets advantageous.
• Good understanding of highways or drainage environments.
• Flexible approach to days, nights and weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Operate Gully Wagons safely and efficiently.

Gully Wagon Operator

Pace Infrastructure are currently recruiting for an experienced Gully Cleaning Wagon Operator to support highway drainage and cleansing operations on major infrastructure and highways projects.

This role involves operating gully wagons and supporting drainage maintenance teams across planned and reactive works.

Duties Include:

• Operating HGV Class 2 gully wagon vehicles safely and efficiently


• Carrying out highway drainage and gully cleansing works


• Operating vacuum and jetting equipment


• Assisting with blockage removal and drainage maintenance


• Completing daily vehicle checks and defect reporting


• Supporting site teams with traffic management and safe systems of work


• Working alongside groundworkers and drainage operatives


• Ensuring compliance with health & safety procedures at all times

Requirements:

• Previous experience operating gully wagons or vacuum tankers preferred


• CSCS / Highways Passport beneficial


• NRSWA, Confined Space or Water Jetting tickets advantageous


• Good understanding of highways or drainage environments


• Flexible approach to days, nights and weekend work
