Job summary

Blue Ribbon in Penwortham is seeking a Female Support Worker (Gujarati Speakers) to empower adults with autism and learning disabilities to live more independent lives. The role is full-time with a pay rate of £13.14 per hour, offering meaningful, person-centred care and community engagement.

You will support personal care, daily living tasks, and access to activities while maintaining safety and safeguarding standards. Training and development are provided to enhance your skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Enable access to a full range of activities aligned with personal choices.
• Follow person-centred care plans to meet individual needs.
• Assist with personal care, daily living tasks, and maintaining a safe environment.
• Complete daily documentation, care records, charts, and incident reports.
• Administer and record medication safely and accurately.
• Support meal preparation, domestic tasks, and household chores.
• Provide psychological, emotional and physical support to service users.
• Encourage community access and social interactions.
• Identify safeguarding concerns and maintain a safe environment.
• Maintain positive relationships with family and external professionals.
• Support independent living skills and complete required training.
