Job summary

iMap Centre Limited in Winsford is seeking a dedicated individual to join our 4-bed adult residential home, providing day-to-day support to adults with autism to promote independence and growth.

You'll work closely with colleagues and families, implementing personalised support plans, documenting progress, and participating in ongoing training to develop your skills and advance your career in a caring, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in social care or autism care is desirable but not essential.
• Willingness to complete social care qualifications if not already held.
• Good communication with individuals, families and colleagues.
• Basic literacy and numeracy to complete records and follow plans.

About the Role

Provide day-to-day support to adults with autism, assisting with personal care, social activities, and skill development to promote independence. Implement individualised support plans, monitor progress, and report any changes in behaviour or needs. Work collaboratively with colleagues and families to create a safe, positive, and inclusive environment. Attend training sessions to enhance skills and maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices.

Experience in social care or working with individuals with autism is desirable but not essential. A caring, patient, and reliable attitude is required, along with good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team, adhering to our values of Understand, Empower, and Aspire. Basic literacy and numeracy skills are necessary, and a willingness to learn and develop professionally is essential.
