Job summary

Premier Inn Edinburgh South Queensferry is seeking a Ground Floor Team Member to welcome guests, check them in and help with breakfast or dinner service. You’ll answer questions, solve problems and keep the hotel’s public areas pristine, while supporting teammates during busy periods.

Shifts include evenings and weekends; no two days are the same as you ensure every guest feels looked after from arrival to departure. Full-time permanent role with comprehensive training provided.

Qualifications

• No hotel experience required; prior roles in retail, cafés, pubs welcome.
• Friendly, helpful, calm in busy periods.
• Willing to learn all parts of the role.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and help them check in
• Serve breakfast or evening meals, including working behind the bar and serving alcoholic drinks
• Answer questions and help solve problems
• Keep the reception, restaurant and public areas looking their best
• Support your teammates across the hotel when things get busy
• Make sure every guest feels looked after from arrival to departure
