Job summary

Valor Hospitality is seeking a Guest Service Assistant-Breakfast to join our team in Manchester. You will help deliver a memorable dining experience for guests, assisting with breakfast service and maintaining a spotless dining environment.

The role involves working in a fast-paced hospitality setting, providing excellent customer service, and supporting the Food and Beverage team across setup, service, and event support.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or customer service is helpful but not required.
• Ability to communicate clearly and provide a friendly guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in breakfast food and beverage service for guests efficiently and pleasantly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas in line with health and safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving complaints promptly.
• Support Food and Beverage team with setup, service, restocking, and inventory tasks.
• Assist in coordinating and delivering events and special functions as needed.
• Ensure all areas are well-stocked and presented to high standards.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements

• Assist in the preparation and serving of food and beverages to guests in an efficient and pleasant manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving complaints promptly and professionally.
• Support the Food and Beverage team in all operational duties, including setting up and clearing tables, restocking supplies, and assisting with inventory management.
• Assist in the coordination and execution of events and special functions.
• Ensure all areas are well-stocked and presented impeccably at all times.
• Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is desirable but not mandatory.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high standards.
• Flexible to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
