Reach for Remarkable is hiring a part-time Guest Service Assistant at Imphal Barracks in York. You will serve Officers, clear tables, and keep the mess clean while supporting bar and function work as needed.

Qualifications

• UK resident for the past 3 years and right to work in the UK.
• Able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
• Over 18 years old due to bar work.
• Previous experience is desirable but full training is provided.

• Clean front and back of house and maintain tidy service areas.

Hours: Permanent, part-time, 10 hours/week, Saturday and Sunday
Shift times: 0830 - 1330

What you’ll do:

• Serving Officers in the mess, clearing away, washing up, light cleaning duties
• Cleaning both back and front-of-house, ensuring the unit is clean and tidy before, during, and after service.
• General front of house duties such as operating the till and cash handling, keeping financial records, providing excellent customer service, and serving customers.
• Making hot and cold drinks and serving food on the food counters, ensuring you are always adhering to Food Safety and Health and Safety regulations.

What we are looking for:

• Been resident in the UK for the past 3 years and have a legal right to work in the UK.
• The ability to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
• Over 18 as some bar work
• Previous experience desirable but full training given.
