Job summary

Aramark UK is hiring a Bar/Food Service Assistant at Thiepval Barracks, Lisburn. The role involves serving, drinks, and grab-and-go items, with a focus on delivering great customer service in a busy food service environment.

You'll work 20 hours per week across four days with shift patterns that cover evenings and weekends. Benefits include meals on shift, parking, and access to our employee benefits app.

Qualifications

• Legal right to work in the UK and ability to pass security vetting and DBS checks (residency waivers available).
• Experience in a similar role in a busy kitchen or food service environment.
• A positive attitude and commitment to excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Operate tills, handle cash, and deliver outstanding customer service.
• Prepare hot and cold drinks, serve food, and keep counters stocked.
• Make grab-and-go items like sandwiches, wraps, and paninis.
• Maintain cleanliness front and back of house, ensuring high standards of hygiene and safety.
• Receive and store deliveries, ensuring proper stock rotation and minimal waste.

Pay rate: £12.71 per hour (over 21 rate)
Contract type: Permanent, part-time, 20 hours per week, 4 days per week
Shift times: Mon-Thursday 18.30 – 23.30; Friday 17.30 – 00.00; Saturday 16.00 -00.00; Sunday 13.00 – 18.30 / 17.30 – 23.30; Function nights 18.00 – 01.30
