Scotsman Group is seeking a Hotel Night Porter in Edinburgh to ensure the smooth operation of the hotel overnight and provide exceptional guest service while maintaining cleanliness and security.

In this role you will warmly welcome guests, assist with late check-ins/early check-outs, handle guest requests, conduct regular security walks, and support room service when needed, all while upholding high standards throughout the night.

Formación

• Have a friendly, professional manner with a passion for guest service.
• Be flexible and hands-on, willing to help wherever needed.
• Comfortable working independently during quiet periods and know when to ask for help.
• Strong communication skills and calm handling of guest requests.
• Organised, observant and detail‑oriented during security checks and cleaning.

Responsabilidades

• Provide a warm, professional welcome to guests during the night.
• Assist with late check-ins and early check-outs efficiently.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries about the hotel and area.
• Carry out regular security and safety walk‑rounds and report concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of public areas overnight.
• Assist guests with luggage and deliveries; support room service when needed.
