Job summary

MOXY Hotels in Aberdeen is seeking an adaptable, energetic professional to join our team as an Assistant Captain. You will help lead a fast-paced service environment, coaching staff and delivering memorable guest experiences while representing the MOXY brand within Marriott’s portfolio.

You will coordinate F&B operations, supervise room inventory, and ensure compliance with health, safety and licensing standards, contributing to a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere for guests from around the world.

Qualifications

• Must have experience within the service industry.
• Must have experience of team management.
• Must have experience with property management systems such as Opera.
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros.
• Knowledge of Food Safety & Licensing laws.
• Personal travel and travel industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Assistant Captain in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
• Provide coaching, training and development to staff.
• Deliver excellent guest service and positive guest experiences.
• Stay informed about hotel forecast and in-house/ local neighbourhood activity.
• Manage Food & Beverage outlets the MOXY way.
• Manage hotel room inventory and assist with check-in/check-out.
• Follow food safety, licensing and health & safety policies.
