De Vere Wokefield Estate is recruiting an Assistant Reception Manager to ensure guests receive exceptional service from arrival to departure. You will support the Front of House Manager, coach the team, and drive a culture of continuous improvement in a 24/7 operation.
The role involves managing a mix of early, late, and middle shifts, including weekends, with opportunities for training and career progression within De Vere.
De Vere Wokefield Estateset in 250 acres of rural Berkshire parkland is home to a historic Mansion House filled with traditional features and the contemporary Wokefield Place that offers state of the art facilities. Your commute: just outside Reading, we're 10 minutes from J11 of the M4, with fast and direct trains from London Paddington to Reading Train station. We also offer subsidised travel to our colleagues who work at Wokefield Estate.

Are you ready to take the lead in delivering exceptional guest experiences as an Assistant Reception Manager?
As the Assistant Reception Manager your mission is to ensure guests' expectations are not only met but exceeded throughout their stay. From extending a warm welcome to efficiently handling guest requests, you'll be a driving force behind the team consistently delivering unforgettable experiences that leave a lasting impression.
You will also support the Front of House Manager with a variety of tasks and training activities which will in turn develop your management skills and experience to ensure the smooth running of the department. In this role you’ll continually learn and develop, have access to industry leading training and have the opportunity to develop your career with De Vere!
This is a full-time role that involves working a mixture of shifts to include earlies from 7am-3:30pm, Lates from 14:30pm-23:00pm and middle shifts from 10am - 18:30pm - to include weekends on a rota basis.
