Premier Inn Durham City Centre, part of Whitbread, is recruiting Ground Floor Team Members on a permanent basis. The role offers 12 hours per week, paid up to £13.06 per hour, with a permanent contract.

You’ll welcome guests, help them check in, serve breakfast or dinner, and assist across reception, restaurant and public areas to ensure a smooth stay.

No prior hotel experience is required—full training is provided and you’ll join a supportive team that values every guest’s experience.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and help them check in
• Serve breakfast or evening meals, including working behind the bar and serving alcoholic drinks
• Answer questions and help solve problems
• Help keep the reception, restaurant and public areas looking their best
• Support your teammates across the hotel when things get busy
• Make sure every guest feels looked after from arrival to departure
