Second Nature in the United Kingdom is seeking a Host to greet guests at arrival, manage front desk duties, and provide bar service, all while keeping a warm, welcoming atmosphere across shifts.

You’ll learn bar and food service, remember guest names, anticipate needs, and assist with phones, parcels, and events when needed. No hotel background required; we value instinct and inclusive, proactive service.

Qualifications

• Experience helping people in person across hospitality or retail.
• Willing to learn bar and food service skills.
• Proven record of delivering great guest experiences.
• Comfortable with basic admin and handling calls.
• Warm, friendly demeanor with good memory for names.
• Calm under pressure, proactive.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and check guests in/out with warmth and professionalism.
• Handle check-in paperwork while keeping guest experience smooth.
• Work behind the bar taking orders and serving drinks.
• Move between front desk and F&B duties as needed.
• Answer questions about local area with enthusiasm.
• Anticipate guest needs and address preferences.
• Report maintenance or cleaning issues promptly.
• Share guest information with the team to avoid gaps.
• Handle guest concerns calmly and escalate when needed.
• Assist with phones, mail, parcels, and events when busy.
