Job summary

Soho House & Co. in Greater London is seeking a Host to warmly greet members and guests, manage seating and bookings, and support the floor team to prepare tables for the next reservation.

You will deliver outstanding service from initial greeting to seating, respond to guest inquiries, and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere across busy, high-volume shifts. The role requires 2–3 years of hospitality experience, flexibility to work weekends, and a passion for hospitality.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years’ experience in a similar hospitality role.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
• Be hospitable, approachable and respectful to guests and colleagues.
• Flex shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat members and guests.
• Manage Opera/OpenTable booking system to seat guests according to bookings.
• Support floor team to prepare tables and assist with seating.
• Provide knowledge of menus and allergen information.
• Address guest inquiries and requests promptly and professionally.
• Resolve member complaints with discretion, reporting issues to management.
• Build relationships with members and guests, reporting feedback.
• Attend briefings, tastings, and team events; assist colleagues as needed.
