Job summary

Rowhill Grange Hotel & Utopia Spa, part of The Alexander Hotel Collection, is seeking a Hotel Receptionist. The role covers welcoming guests, check-in, handling enquiries, and coordinating guest services at a 4-star hotel just outside London.

You will work 37.5 hours over 5 days, including weekends, with shifts from mornings to evenings. A five-star smile and excellent guest service are essential to ensure memorable stays.

Qualifications

• Excellent standard of personal appearance.
• Excellent communicator in person and on the telephone.
• Warm and friendly disposition.
• Genuine desire to serve our guests.
• Organised and good attention to detail.
• Accurate data entry and computer work.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming arrival guests and guests check-in/rooming.
• Handling enquiries in person and by phone.
• Posting charges and guest billing.
• Taking bedroom reservations.
• Producing daily activity reports for internal departments.
• Upselling facilities and rooms.
• Organising porter services where needed.
• Balancing the shift and completing end-of-day procedures.
• 5 days 37.5 hrs per week including weekend shifts.
