Job summary

Hiddenwell is seeking a confident Duty Manager for Hoar Cross Hall in Staffordshire to lead front-of-house operations and ensure guest satisfaction throughout their stay.

In this hands-on role you will direct shifts, resolve guest concerns, coordinate departments and uphold high service standards, reporting to the Guest Experience Manager while maintaining safety and a welcoming atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership and guest-service skills.
• Comfortable taking the lead while remaining approachable.

Responsibilities

• Lead each shift: give clear direction, prioritise tasks, support teams across the hotel.
• Handle escalated concerns calmly, find practical solutions and follow through.
• Assist with check-in and check-out during busy periods.
• Respond to disruptions, resolve conflicts and seek additional support when needed.
• Maintain standards by applying company policies fairly and keeping the hotel safe and welcoming.
• Carry out fire marshal duties following required training.
• Complete accurate shift reports and thorough handovers with guest requirements.
