Job summary

Guerlain in Colchester is seeking a Beauty Consultant to act as a brand ambassador, delivering a personalised luxury service and achieving sales targets. You will promote Guerlain products, demonstrate make-up, and build strong client relationships to ensure repeat business.

Responsibilities

• Proactively sell Guerlain products and provide a luxury standard of service to customers.
• Meet or exceed sales targets as directed by the line manager.
• Proactively link sell across product categories to increase ATV and ATU.
• Be knowledgeable on Guerlain products and confidently address objections.
• Demonstrate products and explain benefits to clients.
• Initiate contact with customers, welcome them on counter and through traffic stopping.
• Develop personal relationships with clients and gain loyalty; educate clients on Guerlain products and brand.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with merchandising tasks in line with guidelines.

As a Beauty Consultant for Guerlain, you are a brand ambassador. Job responsibilities

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

SALES:

• To pro-actively sell Guerlain products and provide a luxury standard of service to customers
• To be aware of and achieve or exceed sales targets, as set by your line manager
• To pro-actively link sell across product categories, to increase average transaction value (ATV) and average transaction units (ATU)

SERVICE

• To be knowledgeable on all Guerlain products and be able to propose personalised products to clients and confidently and appropriately overcome any objections
• Demonstrate products on clients by means of flash make-overs and confidently explain the benefits of each products
• To initiate contact with customers and welcome them both on counter and through traffic stopping
• To identify, understand and reformulate the client needs
• To develop personal relationships with clients and to gain loyalty
• To educate clients on Guerlain products and the brand

KPI: To achieve target for Mystery Shopping

GENERAL

• To participate in merchandise management and ensure that it is in line with Corporate guidelines
• To monitor stock levels, report any issues to the Counter Manager and ensure that there is sufficient levels
• To conduct all assigned operational and administrative tasks
• To be a Guerlain brand ambassador and representative at all times
• To adhere to all Company procedures and policies, as outlined in the employee handbook
• To build relationships with store management and adhere to all store policies and procedures
• To carry out any additional duties as directed by the management team

You will be able to demonstrate cosmetics and make-up application knowledge, and through excellent communication skills, be able to identify key items that would suit the customers’ needs.
