Job summary

NCR Atleos is seeking a Guard Van Driver (Cash in Transit Officer) in Dagenham, RM9. This role involves securely transporting cash, working solo or with a partner, and ensuring replenishment of ATMs while complying with all safety policies.

Shifts total 45 hours per week across 4 days, with paid breaks, and weekend rota obligations. A £1,000 joining bonus applies if you hold a CVIT SIA licence; otherwise funded training is provided. 26 days annual leave and pension benefits offered.

Qualifications

• 10-year traceable work and education history.
• Valid Full UK driving licence (no more than 6 penalty points).
• CVIT SIA licence desirable; if held, £1,000 bonus after probation; via funded training if not.
• Conscientious driving with adherence to the Highway Code.
• Ability to follow instructions and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Work alone or with a partner as driver or courier.
• Stock ATM cash by secure transport and replenishment.
• Follow procedures and complete required documentation.
• Drive and park responsibly, following the Highway Code and Health & Safety standards.
• Build positive relationships with colleagues, customers and stakeholders.
• Communicate clearly with colleagues and branch management to resolve issues promptly.

• Job Title: Guard Driver
• Location: Dagenham, RM9 6RH
• Salary: £35,766.10 per annum + £1,000 joining bonus if you hold a valid CVIT SIA licence
• Shifts: 45 hours per week across 4 days (11.25 hours including paid breaks), with shifts between 4:20am and 8:00pm and weekend work on rota basis

About The Role

As a Guard Van Driver (internally known as a Cash in Transit Officer), you'll help transport cash safely and securely.

No two days are the same. You'll switch between driving and courier duties, working solo or alongside a partner to keep operations running smoothly.

Main Responsibilities

• Work alone or with a partner - either as a driver or a courier.
• Keep the ATMs stocked by securely transporting and replenishing cash.
• Follow company procedures and complete required documentation.
• Drive and park responsibly, following the Highway Code, company policies, and Health & Safety standards.
• Build positive relationships with colleagues, customers, and other stakeholders.
• Communicate clearly with colleagues and branch management to resolve issues and concerns promptly and professionally.

Key Requirements

• Ability to provide a continuous 10-year employment and education history (any gaps in employment history must be covered).
• Valid Full UK driving licence (no more than 6 penalty points).
• Valid CVIT SIA licence is desirable. If you already hold one, you’ll receive a £1,000 bonus after completing probationary period. If not, you can obtain it through our fully funded training programme.
• Conscientious driving, with full adherence to the Highway Code at all times.
• Ability to follow instructions and work to tight deadlines.
