NCR Atleos in Birmingham is hiring a Guard Van Driver (Cash in Transit Officer) to safely transport cash between locations. You will work 45 hours per week in a 4-day pattern with paid breaks and an early start window.

The role requires a valid Full UK driving licence (no more than 6 penalty points) and a CVIT SIA licence (desirable, with a £1,000 joining bonus). You will join a company offering extensive benefits, training, and progression.

• Salary : £35,766.10 per annum
• Joining bonus: £1,000 if you hold a valid CVIT SIA licence
• Shifts: 45 hours per week across 4 days (11.25 hours including paid breaks), with shifts between 4:20am and 8:00pm and weekend work on rota basis
  

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Guard Van Driver (internally called Cash in Transit Officer), you'll help ensure the safe and secure transport of cash between locations.

No two shifts are alike. you'll switch between driving and courier duties, working solo or alongside a partner to keep operations running smoothly.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Working alone or with a partner - either as a driver or a courier, depending on the assigned duties.
• Servicing ATM machines by ensuring the secure transportation and deployment of cash.
• Following company processes and completing all associated documentation in line with operational targets.
• Driving and parking company vehicles responsibly, in line with the Highway Code, company policy, and procedures to ensure compliance to all Health and Safety.
• Maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver an efficient service to our customers.
• Communicating clearly with colleagues and the branch management team to ensure any issues or concerns are addressed within a reasonable timeframe and to a satisfactory standard.
  

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to provide a continuous 10-year employment and education history (any gaps in employment history must be covered).
• Valid Full UK driving licence (no more than 6 penalty points).
• Valid CVIT SIA licence is desirable. If you already hold one, you'll receive a £1,000 bonus after completing probationary period. If not, you can obtain it through our fully funded training programme.
• Conscientious driving, with full adherence to the Highway Code at all times.
• Ability to follow instructions and work to tight deadlines.
