Job summary

Aareon is seeking a Search & Content Lead to join our Manchester-based Growth team on a hybrid, full-time basis. You will own organic search, answer engines, and AI-powered discovery channels, building scalable content programmes that increase visibility and drive demand.

You will lead content development across statutory topics, refreshing content as laws change, and ensure accuracy and sources across complex housing regulation and lettings issues.

Qualifications

• Senior SEO and content leadership with ownership of a domain strategy.
• Demonstrable ranking gains in a competitive or technical category.
• Experience building content at depth on a regulated or technical subject.
• Understanding of answer engine and generative engine optimisation as they stand in 2026.
• Editorial judgement, and the ability to hold a quality standard on subject matter you are not personally expert in.

Responsibilities

• Build the statutory question library across Renters' Rights, Awaab's Law and the private rented sector database, published on one domain at a standard professionals will trust.
• Own organic search, including answer engine and generative engine optimisation.
• Refresh every answer at each statutory date, beginning with 30 November 2026.
• Run the resident story content alongside the compliance material, so the engine carries both the professional and the human argument.
• Own organic traffic and rankings against target statutory terms, organic pipeline contribution, and content-assisted conversion.
• Work with the Demand Generation Lead, the PR & Editorial Lead and Product Marketing
