Job summary

SIG Roofing is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager in Poole to support the Branch Manager in delivering sales targets and excellent customer service. You’ll lead a team across trade counter, yard and admin tasks, ensuring efficient stock control, timely deliveries, and a strong health & safety culture.

Qualifications

• Sales or customer service experience in construction or building materials.
• Roofing products knowledge preferred.
• Team leadership experience.
• Strong communication and IT skills.
• Target-driven with good service delivery.
• Counterbalance FLT licence desirable; training available.

Responsibilities

• Support branch operations to meet sales and margin targets.
• Build relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues.
• Monitor stock control, pricing, and timely deliveries.
• Promote health and safety compliance within the branch.
• Assist with vehicle maintenance, pre-shift checks, and branch infra.
• Lead by example and support a service-driven team.
• Identify growth opportunities and respond to competition.
