Crowborough Software Ltd. is seeking an Application Support Engineer to handle client questions and technical issues via phone and email. The role requires hands-on software application support, quick learning of new systems, and effective liaison with clients and suppliers.

You will log and resolve IT issues, document processes, and perform system administration tasks. A UK driving license and strong communication skills are essential for team collaboration and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role or as a 2nd Line support Technician.
• Full UK Driving License.
• Experience working in Software.
• SQL Experience would be an advantage.
• Have a passion for learning new skills and enjoy working within a team.
• Friendly but professional in your approach.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for dealing with client's questions and technical issues both via telephone and email.
• You will be hands-on and experienced with Software Application Support and will have the ability to pick up new systems quickly as their software is constantly being updated and developed.
• Liaising with clients / customers over the phone.
• Ensure our clients systems runs smoothly and all issues are resolved as soon as possible.
• Receiving, logging and resolving IT issues.
• To ensure that all software systems, procedures and processes are effectively documented to agreed standards.
• Liaise with external suppliers of software / hardware systems and other specialist teams.
• Undertake system administration tasks.
