Job summary

Goodman Masson is seeking a commercially minded, hands-on Group Head of Finance to own the finance function across multiple entities. The role starts on-site and moves to a hybrid arrangement as the business scales, with significant exposure to the CEO, Board and investors.

You will lead financial control, group reporting, budgeting and modelling, while supporting fundraising and due diligence efforts. Strong experience in group accounting and investor-backed environments is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong group accounting and technical finance experience.
• Excellent Excel and financial modelling skills.
• Experience managing external accountants, auditors and advisers.
• Ideally experience within property, private equity, investment management, infrastructure or another investor-backed environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the Group finance function across multiple entities.
• Lead management accounts, group reporting and statutory compliance.
• Oversee VAT, tax, audit and financial controls.
• Manage cash-flow forecasting and investor distributions.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling.
• Support acquisitions, fundraising and investor due diligence.
• Develop finance systems, processes and reporting as the business scales.
• Present financial performance and insights to the Board and senior stakeholders.
